PrideFest Code of Conduct
2024 DOUGLAS COUNTY PRIDEFEST RULES FOR GUESTS AND VENDORS
Douglas County PrideFest is a private event and we reserve the right to refuse entry or eject patrons for any reason, including but not limited to violation of the below rules.

All PrideFest participants are expected to behave respectfully. Participants are not to speak poorly of LGBTQIA+ people, try to recruit people away from their identities, or in any way take a stance against the LGBTQIA+ community.

The youth area will be limited to children, their parents/guardians, and PrideFest Staff to ensure the safety of all participants

No protests will be allowed within PrideFest or PrideFest parking areas. All protests will occur in designated protest areas.

No proselytizing

No recording or photography without the direct consent of the person(s) being recorded

No dedicated recording equipment (cell phones permitted but may not be used as recording devices outside of designated selfie areas)

No weapons (including firearms, knives, or incendiary devices). No exceptions for concealed carry permit holders.

Small non-locking knives (slip-joint or double detent) and multi-tools (Leatherman or Swiss Army style) may be permitted if carried to be used as a tool for event setup and tear-down

Guests who become visibly intoxicated will not be served alcohol and may be asked to leave the premises

No drugs (including cannabis) are permitted at PrideFest. (Exception for CBD only products without THC)

No smoking is allowed on PrideFest grounds. Smoking will be permitted in the parking lot.

All bags, containers, and packages are subject to search

No alcohol may leave the premises

No riding bicycles, scooters, or other wheeled vehicles on premises (except accessibility equipment)

Only water and essential liquids allowed

No outside food allowed. (Exception for PrideFest volunteers and vendors bringing food for personal consumption during the event)

No coolers or large backpacks allowed. (Exception for vendors bringing food for personal consumption during the even)

No nudity, partial nudity, or obscene dress will be permitted. This Festival is open to all ages and appropriate behavior is expected.

Douglas County Pride and all associated board members and volunteers will not be responsible for any lost belongings or injuries incurred while attending the Douglas County PrideFest.

Violation of any of the above rules will result in your immediate removal from the premises by PrideFest security or law enforcement.
